Founded by Luca Degani (bandoneon), Leonardo Sapere (cello), and
Giannantonio Mutto (piano), Tangox3 began its activity in 2005 to
continue a path started years earlier in the repertoire of Argentine
tango. The artistic research of Tangox3 focuses particularly on the
compositions of Astor Piazzolla but has also expanded its interests over
the years to include classical tango, incorporating some of the most
famous compositions of the Guardia Vieja into its repertoire. With Rino
Braia on double bass, TangoX 3 Quartet was born. The new formation
collaborates with the Argentine dance duo Margarita Klurfan and Walter
Cardozo, with dancer Angel Zotto, with singer Ruben Peloni, and with the
orchestra “I Virtuosi Italiani” and violinist Glauco Bertagnin. In
2023, TangoX 3 Quartet released their CD: “Live”.
